In general, a custom-made hearing aid will only solve one problem, the one for which you went to see your audiologist. Depending on your degree of deafness, the device will at best allow you to be able to hear more or less clearly a conversation of people speaking around you but you will have no means of setting your device to listen to a lecturer, to take a course in an amphitheater , record the speaker, listen to television without increasing the sound, hear at a distance etc. It is all these things that your Audio-kit will allow you. The sounds you want to hear come from various sources: human voices, your television, your radio, your recorders, Alexa, your smartphone, your computers etc. If the voice is human, we will use a microphone. If the voice comes from devices listed above an audio cable will connect your blue or red transmitter to the device, you want to hear. A Bluetooth connection is also possible.
With the Audio-kit LK-001, you can only hear one sound source at a time like any medical hearing device
The sounds you want to hear, you might not just want to hear them: You may also want to record them, display them on a screen, share them with a group of people, broadcast them on a loudspeaker, hear them with this or that earpiece, or process them with a program on your computer with a program adapted to your hearing problem
With the Audio-kit LK-003 , you can hear two sound sources simultaneously.
